A popular legend circulating the Isle of Plumii concerns the lost treasure of the Marquess Magdalena, whose fortune is rumored to be buried in a vault constructed from the skulls and bones of the Marquess’ faithful followers. The location is guarded by the Dead Pirates Society, a group of dearly departed buccaneers, brigands, and bandits, whose rough reputation belies their gentle souls. Many a citizen have attempted to seance with these dead guardians in hopes of coaxing from them the coordinates of the underground vault…but none have yet to succeed.
